I never got why e^?i = -1. My calc teacher once told us he's show us why, but then we forgot to remind him. x( However, it does.

The sum of series is one, because it's just the shorthand way of writing 1/2+ 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/16 + 1/32 and so on, where the denominator is 2^n as n increases to infinity. If you keep adding terms (1/64, 1/128, etc.) you'll see that the result keeps approaching 1, so if you keep adding terms forever, you do get 1. :)
