I left the gym without working out because it was so crowded
And I am in a rotten mood so I was too impatient to wait. Here I thought not going immediately after work meant it would be less crowded. I figured everyone would go at 5. But I guess they are like me, they go home first and chill for a bit, then go work out. Shit. I guess I need to change my time. I'd heard that it was a bad idea to work out late, like 9 pm or too close to bedtime. And I am not a morning person, so immediately after work it will have to be. I skipped a couple of days because I felt like I pulled a muscle in my thigh at soccer practice on Saturday so I though I should rest it for a couple of days. It feels okay now; we'll see what happens at the game Sunday with all the running.

Now I feel like a loser, so I am having a beer instead. LOL. I need a hot bath- my legs ache from standing on concrete all day.

after they've given up on their New Years resolution.

3. It's a bad idea to exercise late if it keeps you from sleeping, but...
if that's not a problem for you, then there's no reason not to exercise at night.

4. I've never tried it
But generally I am too lazy to workout that late. It is already way too easy to talk myself out of it as it is. And I guess I did it again today. I couldn't be bothered to wait. Although why people have to do an hour on the machines when others are waiting, I'll never know. I once belonged to a place that had a 30 minute time limit while it was busy (or rather it was strongly suggested).

6. My gym just went back to normal this past weekend
The New Year's resolution crowd finally quit. I work out in the mornings. It's harder, but it's well worth it. You get it out of the way, and you feel good throughout the day.

8. I wish I could do that
I have tried working out in the morning and it is good, when I actually go. But I usually can only get up with enough time to eat breakfast, throw on some clothes and make it to work, without being too terribly late. Past experience tells me that I just WILL NOT wake up in time to work out. As it is I hit the snooze bar numerous times before rolling out. And this is even when I get a reasonable nights sleep. I am SO not a morning person.

7. You Aren't A Loser!
even champs have off days

I'm not a morning person and can only work out after work. It's slowed down at my gym after the almost comical influx after 1/1/07 and the new years resolutions

Hang in there

there will be more days to work out!

9. Yes there is tomorrow
and I am playing soccer now too which at least is a change of pace, if we can ever get organized enough to start the season. I am looking forward to it but deeply afraid I will hurt myself.

10. Wear Your Shin Guards Pulled Up High Enough
and ground yourself

a little blood and pulled muscles is what soccer is all about, eh?

11. I've been paying $45 a month and haven't been in 4
I got tired of people lounging on the machines I wanted to use and their getting pissy when I wanted them to move.

Now I'm just too tired to try to find the energy to go.

12. Well fortunately this one is only $10 a month
And no contract, which may explain why it is so crowded. I joined because I needed a place with better hours than the workout center on campus. I should start going back to that one, at least sometimes. It is sometimes crowded but only when the sports teams are in there.
