If That Dog Barks One more time
I just may sprinkle love petals from all the pretty flowers around me on his silly little loud, pit bull head.

la la la la la.

I have to drive 400 miles tomorrow round trip, and prior to turning around, I have to deal with my brain cancer infested brother, his girlfriend, and many doctors. I don't need this shit eating dog keeping me awake yet again.

'Scuse me. I had a brief human moment there.

2. it's not the dog's fault -
it's his stupid owner.

The dog needs something. Attention. Water. Warmth. Food. LOVE. Something. It's NOT the dog's fault.

Sorry you're not getting the sleep you need, but put the blame where it belongs.

I understand what you are saying, but
I believe, after experiencing this for some time, that I know differently.

Sometimes it is the dog.

5. he shouldn't be outside.
Dogs belong with their pack (family) and they're inside. Why should he be left outside? What taught him to bark? What is it that he needs that he's not getting - and is asking for the only way he knows how? (by barking.)

If he's barking a lot - there's a reason. A reason that an owner can 'fix'. If they're not fixing the problem, maybe you should call SPCA and report them for neglect/abuse.

Repeat - it's NOT the dog's fault.

6. I hear ya
if I can sleep, I have to now.

If I could talk to the dog or his caretakers, I would, but it isn't practical.

Happy days and nights

8. thanks and
you have some really good suggestions.

It is not the dog's fault, but what he does affects me and my life, so.........

When I get back, you can be sure I will have some doggy treats to give him in the hope of shutting him up.

Peace, and I don't mean to sound uncaring. It's just that sometimes my life has to take precidence over whatever the neighbor pooch is going through. Call me crazy. It happens.

I used to put a pillow over my head, but then would wake up with a migraine. I hope his owners are in their own special corner of hell surrounded by barking dogs.

Sorry about your brother....
