Poll question: Gentlemen: do you find ladies more attractive when they are nonsmokers?
As a recent nonsmoker, I'm just trying to gauge whether I'll get more attention from the menfolk. Heh. (not that I need it, I'm just greedy!)

My first pic as a nonsmoker (my apartment was a wreck!):

3. You will be more attractive to anti-smoking nazis
This could be a mixed blessing.

btw Though my courting days are over I think you are really cute and attract guys anyway, smoking and non-snoking.

6. Hee!
I'm 34, though, so I think probably most people my age don't smoke.

And thanks for the compliments. :)

7. Smokers
are not attractive, I hate the smell, and everything else included that comes with smoking.

Congratulations on your decision to quit, I hope you can keep it up.

11. Weirdly, I hated the smell too, even as a smoker.
And I'm growing to truly loathe it now. I need to have all my coats dry-cleaned! And my hair and breath smells really nice. :D

10. In all my years of dating I never considered a smoker.
I was raised around it and couldn't even imagine dating someone who was a smoker. Hell I don't even have any friends that smoke.

15. It's always been a big turnoff for me
The smell most of all. If I went into a bar where smoking was allowed right now, my eyes would start tearing from the smoke irritation. And, then the smell clings to your clothes for hours afterwards.

If Jessica Alba & Halle Berry came up to me and asked me for a threesome as long as they both could smoke, I would turn them down.

I have one of these on the inside of both arms:

Plus a bonsai tree on my upper arm, an Aztec design the size of a dinner plate in the middle of my back, a band around my ankle, and a Fishbone (the band) logo on my hip. Not too girly. :)

29. These days, yes
But when I met my wife she smoked, and I was a social, occasional smoker when I was out with friends at the bar who smoked.

Now, I haven't had a cigarette in years and the smell of smoke bugs me.

39. Yeah, but ultimatey I don't think most people care that much
one way or another. If someone is attractive, the part of the brain that controls attraction/lust is gonna pretty much tell the olfactory nerve to piss off and win that battle.

Watching Gene Tierney smoke in "Laura", she is so sexy and gorgeous. But you know if you were with her in real life in that scene, she'd smell like an ashtray.
