ok so i'm watching this and here are 2 comments made by the brain trusts on this show.

One kid is having a visitor in from Canada, the Dad says "From her picture she's got pretty teeth, i don't trust that because canadian women have bad teeth.

Next up is the Mom, she is speaking with the gal from Canada and she giggles over the way she say "Aboot" and Mom then asks her "do you speak Canadian?", total crickets after a long awkward pause.

2. It's really tough to be from Orange County...

First, we got called "Reagan Country," then came The OC, and now we're saddled with this Real Housewives crap.

You all just don't know how tough it is to be from and live in southern California... :cry:

4. My childhood best friend's mom is Canadian and teaches grade school

By the end of the year all her students would pick up her accent and there'd be a room full of little kids of every conceivable hue and origin who all sounded like Dudley Do Right. It was the funniest thing ever.

I've lived in Canada all my life, and I've yet to hear anyone talk like Dudley. Or Nell or Snidely. Lots and lots like Bob and Doug, but sorry, no Dudley. Actually, that's kinda too bad, I love Dudley.

5. oh damn, they crack me up. I admit to being fascinated.

I grew up in Orange County about 20-25 years ago when there was still open space, and it was wealthy but not this obscenely out of touch. We of course were not wealthy, but it was no big deal -- seems like kids now have a really hard time.

You haven't seen the best of it. The dad in the scene you described, talking about teeth, is Mike Keogh (sp?) - used to play pro baseball for either the Angels or the Oakland A's, and was conked super hard on the noggin with a ball and I don't think ever played again.

12. There's an ad for that show in which one of

the women explains why she's a Republican. Well, actually she doesn't really explain because she doesn't know. Just stumbles around and says something like "uh...because of what's the word? incumbant?" Total waste of DNA.
