The kitty has a new favorite spot
Since we got the bird.

I'm concerned the poor bird is gonna have a heart attack!

2. She's a very affectionate cat
Absolutely insists you rub and scratch her. I've talked to other tortie owners and they say theirs are the same way. Is yours like that?

Her name is Princess Harmony Grace. :D

3. yup -- she will NOT leave my husband alone
she's affectionate with me, but downright amorous with him. Insists that he pay attention, scratch, rub, etc. and really does not take no for an answer - if he has to get up or move, she almost barks her disapproval.

She's known here as MommaKitty, but her official name is Novi (from an Isaac Asimov story - Novi was a shortened name for a female who was the earth). She brought us her three kittens about 2 years ago, and we kept MommaK and her three babes (all spayed and happy indoor kitties now).

4. I have a tortie too
She is tiny tiny tiny though- almost a year old and only 6 1/2 pounds. She is a wee little thing.

We call her Boo after Boo Radley in "To Kill A Mockingbird"

Her brother is a white cat with a gray patch on his head- he is just about twice her size- a shade under 13 pounds. His name is Loki, after the Norse God of mischief.

It is a very nasty icy snowy day up here- the cats have been sitting on the window sill watching the birds in the yard eat from the feeder we have back there.

Pretty funny to watch them.
