Movie star Gwyneth Paltrow has blasted President George W. Bush, accusing him of conning the US public and ignoring the rest of the world.

The pregnant Sylvia star - who recently married Coldplay singer Chris Martin - claims Bush has used his position to make money for himself and his friends.

During a promotional interview for the new movie she said, "I think George Bush is such an embarrassment to America in the way that he doesn't take the rest of the world into consideration.
