I know you're right about the heat. Middle of last summer I was riding it back and forth from Tulsa to Oklahoma City to work and it got so hot it was unreal. I don't like to ride without my helmet if I can help it, but I had to take it off on more than one occasion, it was frying my brain :wow:

I've probably seen it because I watch tornado video, and programs that use that stuff.

The overpass was probably before 2005 now that I think about it. Where they hid under an overpass and were really darned lucky to survive the tornado passing almost directly over them, it was a fairly weak one I think or they wouldn't have survived it.
They say that under an overpass is NOT a safe place to be in a tornado.

He was riding with another chaser and looked over and saw a lot of dust. Asked his buddy what it was and next thing he knew, they were on the radio "Tornado on the ground!!" My nephew had the camera rolling. Several others missed it and bought the footage too. Not a lot of money in it, but he's hooked. (He's not quite 19)
