Since Thanksgiving, I have lost 15 lbs....
All I did was cut out buying and eating a candy bar wheneven I went to a store.... (Almost every store has them at the counter)

Cut out daily deserts....

Made sure the transfats intact was low...

Slashed by three quarters the amount of soda I drank...

Upped my H2O intake and started drinking more V-8, grape juice to go with the Noni...

And for the first time in a long time, I am looking forward to swim suit season...

But I'll never get to be a size Tew....

3. Congrats to you!
I am working on eliminating trans fats and high fructose corn syrup from my diet, hoping for similar results.

I need to work on increasing the water I drink. Damn diet Pepsi.....

You should feel really good about yourself -- congrats again!

I have also found that just eating proper portions help a great deal also. And, of course, excercise.

Also congratulations!!! That is a great accomplishement.

12. Yea, a single hamburger instead of a triple....
As if I would ever eat another fast food hamburger...

But getting turkey based lunch meats really cuts down on the fat...

19. Ya know, I was gonna mention that I'd noticed that in your last pix.
I can definitely tell. Good job!

My hubby has dropped a lot just by cutting out all desserts, too. He commits for a certain period of time, like 3 mos., then rewards himself by a big pig out, on one certain night. :D The next big pig out day is coming up, on my birthday in March.

24. I've lost 63 pounds since last May.
And first, I don't know how a mostly skinny person could have gained all that weight.

And second, I don't know how I could have lost all that weight in such a short time except since the separation, I've been exercising (he hated doing that) and eating healthy -- soy, mostly.

It's like having your own personal earthquake and I'm not complaining. It's just so much more drama than I'd ever expect from just my own body. I've never gone up and down this way. It's just weird.

27. Whoa.

I'm impressed with that! It's taken me several months (ok, nearly a year) to lose 40 pounds. Almost exclusively through exercise, walking mainly, is how mine has been lost.

 to you sfexpat2000. Exercise has become a tonic for me--stress reliever and a bit of an anti-depressant and meditative too.

No freaky faddy diet. I followed a similar regimen to yours. I also made sure I ate yogurt and fruit once a day. Ended up losing about 15 lbs. Good for you.
