Need advice about high school overseas study programs
My daughter wants to study abroad next school year. She will be a junior in high school. She hopes to go to a Spanish-speaking country. The most commonly recommended programs are Rotary International and American Field Service. Both have long histories and seem reputable. Her principal also mentioned Educational Foundations for Foreign Study, an organization begun in Sweden. There appear to be a lot of others, but I seek some anecdotes, recommendations, warnings, any information: which ones are reputable and which ones are over-priced scams? Especially about Educational Foundations, since they have a program in Costa Rica that sounds pretty appealing. Thanks for your help. Central Scrutinizer
