When Super Bowl XLI comes to an end on Sunday, the night will just begin for CBS Late Late Show
host Craig Ferguson, who will broadcast live from the Colony Theatre on Miami Beach.
With the Big Game being broadcast on CBS, Ferguson hopes to draw a portion of the millions of
viewers expected to tune in to his late night show, similar to what Jimmy Kimmel did last year on ABC.
Ferguson is not just banking on the Super Bowl leftovers, as he has put together a star studded show for his live South Florida appearance.
Billy Bob Thornton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock, and hank Williams Jr are some of the celebrities expected to perform on the show.
Fans lined up outside of the Colony Theatre on Saturday to catch a glimpse of his rehearsal.
Ferguson couldn’t understand what all the fuss was about.
“They can expect the usual thing, improvisation and panic,” says Ferguson.
“They can expect the same shoddy job done by the non-union laborer.”
There are lots of other Miami moments planned. Gloria Estefan, Dan Marino, and lots of other NFL
stars will make an appearance on the show. Ferguson will even have an interview with the Super Bowl MVP.
The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson will air Monday Morning at 12:30a.m. on CBS.
