It's -2... we had a gas leak last night at 3:30 in the morning....

They had to shut off the gas to the furnace...

our heat is out until thursday...

And the worst part...

I had to shop at WalMart for space heaters...

It was the only store open in the middle of the night...

The heaters work...

We got four of 'em and it is a blamy 52 inside the house tonight....

Gas leaks can be scary - glad no one was hurt or blew up or anything. As for WalMart - hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.

8. The thing is we couldn't get our cats in the carriers....

Mrs. WCGreen was freaking out and the cats sensed and went to ground...

We had to get out of there and I wasn't going to lose my wife over a couple of cats, as much as I care about them...

We had to wait for the guy in the middle of the night, in our driveway knowing that our cats may be dead whne we get back in the house...

He got there within the hour and the cats were fine...

It was the worst hourI had spent in a very long time...

11. The gas bills are much higher than our electric bills

even in the summer when we are running the AC 24/7...

So I did a quick calculation and it looks as if it would be about even...

I have my computer sustem here with all my files and my tax clients are starting to send me there stuff....
