3. Super Bowl Sunday only happens once a year.
Edited on Sun Feb-04-07 10:10 AM by XNASA
At least it's more fun than gratuitous picture threads, which seem to happen nearly everyday.

BTW, you're goin' down. :)

5. I got nothin against it

But you ain't going to see any hot chicks in a Super Bowl thread. :)

That Colts offense is just going to be too high powered for the Bears. The Colts defense sucks but they showed last week that they can come through with the game on the line. I think it's going to be a close game, though.

11. It's seems to be a once in a generation thing.
But the last time the Colts were in?

They were in Baltimore and it was 1971. And they lost 21-0.

Now they're favored by 7 over the best team in the NFC? I'd say all the pressure is on the Colts.

4. To Sweetness!
Go Bears!

Bear Down, Chicago Bears.
Make every play clear the way to victory!
Bear Down, Chicago Bears.
Put up a fight with a might so fearlessly!

We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation,
With your T formation.

Bear Down, Chicago Bears.
And let them know why you're wearing the crown.

You're the pride and joy,
of all Illinois.

Chicago Bears, Bear Down!

10. S'true, he is a jerk.
But he's our jerk. ;) And he's at least got a sense of humor.

Actually, McMahon is a much bigger jerk than Ditka ever was.

17. We used to stalk Sweetness, well, sorta
A real estate buddy of mine told me where his house was in South Barrington so we'd cruise past hoping for a glimpse every once in a while. Once caught him shooting paint balls at the landscape crew. Another time he noticed the same mini van passing by for like the 4th time and he got into one of his hot foreign muscle cars (License plate WP34) and started cruising the neighborhood stalking us back playfully, ending up at the same intersection in different directions repeatedly. We ended up behind him at a light, he turned left and took off like a bat out of hell, done with the game and probably laughing his ass off.

Another time, my wife was in the area, same mini van and noticed his car ahead of her. She followed him to a club he owned in Schaumburg I think. He got out of his car and approached her, opened the door, said how much he liked the van, tickled my then infant son under the chin, chatted a while and signed a beautiful personalized autograph on the back of a recipe, the only paper she had with her.

He was one of a kind all right. GO BEARS, pull em thru Sweetness and Papa Bear!
