2. Going well thanks

We are doing a smaller show this year than last as a couple sponsors had bad years but we have some incredible talent...

I'm only stage mgr this year as someone else is taking over co-producer role. The recall took a bit too much of my energy at the critical planning stage and the Bush economy has NOT been kind to music retailers.

Tinfoiler that I am, I believe BushInc. is keeping blue states in some sort of frenzy or depression with every intent of taking political advantag. California being its big target.

On another note, though...baby blm got a great drumset from Santa. She outgrew her toy set, so a real one was in order. Now, to work on soundproofing. ;)

3 now and loves pianos, guitars, and especially drums. She's as sweet and charming as she is strongwilled. And FUNNY. She has all the entertainer genes that mommy didn't get. heheh.

6. I went to the NAMM show in Chicago in 1981. The Steve Miller

band was the guest band... and some wild drummer kid was there, that Randy Castillo guy. Hanging around the Zildjian booth.

So I go to sign in, and the little OOOOLLLLLDDDDD lady who was making me a name badge literally gave me the name I then used for years afterwards.

She took my 4 letter long last name and changed it to RAVE. Henceforth I was known as Tracey Rave... there's still some folks out there who remember that rock n roll chick.

From a little old lady who's bifocals needed a new prescription. Dang, I may be that little old lady soon....
