YouTube Upload Question:
YouTube experts: When you've uploaded a video, how long does it take to be "processed" typically, so that it can be viewed?

I just did this for the first time, upload went fine, but it seems to be taking a while to get "processed", I didn't know if minutes, hours, or days were typical.

1. IANA expert but I've noticed a lot of groaning about service at the site lately
the whole thing ground to a halt recently, comments have not been updated immediately, or at all, and general suckage all round.

You could have hit a busy time with the servers being hammered simultaneously. Blame it on the USA peak-time for uploads.

2. It's cool. It works now. Took a few minutes to upload, and then around half an hour to process.
