4. I'm behind reading the books
But Lelapin's been a huge fan since book one. :)

I'm hanging in. There have been some subtle but real changes in two weeks. My shadow isn't scaring me as much anymore. ;) There's much more work to do, but I think I'm finally on my way.

'Harry Potter' Stage Strip Stirs Storm

NEW YORK (AP) - ``Harry Potter'' star Daniel Radcliffe, who strips for his new role in London's West End revival of the play ``Equus,'' has ignited a bit of a media firestorm by posing for racy promotional photos for the production.

The Tony-Award-winning drama tells the story of a stable-hand who has an erotic fixation with horses. In one photo, Radcliffe, 17, dares to bare it all alongside a white horse; in another, he is pictured with a naked Joanna Christie, the actress who portrays his girlfriend.

``Equus,'' directed by Thea Sharrock, opens at London's Gielgud Theater on Feb. 27. Tony Award-winning actor Richard Griffiths plays a pyschiatrist who treats Radcliffe's character.

``Part of me wants to shake up people's perception of me, just shove me in a blender,'' Radcliffe said in a recent interview with Newsweek magazine.

5. I guess they think that's their job.
Guess what, though? Daniel Radcliffe's job is acting, so I think it's perfectly fine for him not to live as a 17 y.o. student of wizardry at Hogwart's.

11. every so often people love to freak out about Equus
good for Radcliffe, I think it's kind of funny.

Kind of like Steve from Blue's Clues not wanting to become Krusty the Clown....

36. Well, 17 seems a bit young. The performers were over 20 when
the drama dept did Equus when I was in college.

37. When I saw that play, the actors wore bodysuits...
But the U.K. has different laws on nudity than the U.S. For example, Keira Knightly did a topless scene for a film when she was 16 -- if had been made in the U.S., the producers and director would have been charged with producing child pornography.

I have forgotten many details........

Thanks for the heads-up, sweetie! :bounce: :bounce:

Edited on Thu Feb-01-07 09:30 PM by mvd
The last CD I pre-ordered, The Shins' new CD, was released on Jan. 23 and got here Jan. 29. And when you buy one CD, the shipping adds up. But still, sometimes I find it fun to buy from home.

35. I bet Harry gets laid.
Hey if there is an adult hardback edition and a kids' edition, something's up!

Maybe Ginny Weasley, that redheaded powerful witch, the seventh child of a seventh child (do I remember that correctly?) will get preggers and launch the next generation.
