What does harsh mean and how can I tone it down? I choose Black, Blue & Green as the primary colors.

8. It's mainly the green that seems harsh

So, if we are talking RGB color values

I think you have:
r=0
g=255
b=0

I'm thinking something like:
r=50
g=255
b=80

That would just help take the edge off the green. Just a suggestion.

I use DreamWeaver, I select from a palate. My Green fonts are #006600 and that's all I know.

I don't know anything about dreamweaver, but that's usually a hex code
for RGB, i.e.

#RRGGBB

where any of (RR,GG,BB) can be between 00 and FF

7. The "Adult Material" link

is how I start my day. Every morning I check my site meter to see how long men waited for the "Free Porn Movie" to load! It's a fun way to start the day...knowing that there are people stupid enough to try to re-load the page five times & wait 20 minutes. LOL.

The links go 8-deep. One day I will make another dozen pages or so.

14. It's very clean looking, easy to follow. I like it.

One thing, the opening of the page at the top...

the pic loads very slowly and it's distracting--I found myself looking at the heading which seemed to be off center until the pic loaded. I am not capable of even putting a page together like you've done but I've read a lot about it and I know there are some tips and tricks for handling this problem out on the web.

16. Thanks...my goal is to kick Drudges butt!

My biggest criticism of News Scan sites like Drudge, BuzzFlash & Yahoo is that they flood the eye with to much information. I'm a News-Junkie and I find those sites hard to follow.

My site doesn't have 20 links to every possible headline; I focus on 3 a day, updated daily with a simple archive-search tool. I feature news that gets ignored by the media, but I don't post tin-foil hat material.

I've been doing this project since September '03 and I'm amazed at how much traffic I've been getting. I am learning that as long as I update daily, my traffic grows day-by-day. One of my New Years resolutions is to figure out a way to get 100 people to visit my site a day by the end of 2004.

Thanks for your suggestion & site link. I'll look into what I can do.
