Computer Experts....HELP!!!
My AOL Instant Messenger has a problem. My profile keeps having a message displayed that says "Happy Holidays Everyone" and a link to buddypicture.net...I have no idea how I got it, but I can't get rid of it. Everytime I delete it, it shows up again. I deleted my cookies, files, ran the Ad Aware program to get rid of spyware, uninstalled and reinstalled AIM, and its still not fixed.

HELP!!! What can I do to get rid of it?

1. Check "Add & Remove Programs" in control panel...
You might've inadvertently downloaded & installed something from buddypicture.net. Is it a porn site? ;)

Seriously, check to see if you have any programs in your list that don't look quite right. If so, uninstall it...

3. From this page:
http://www.faqs.org/qa/qa-8921.html

Someone posted these instructions:

Start the registry editor. This is done by clicking Start then Run. (The Run dialog will appear.) Type regedit and click OK. (The registry editor will open.)
Browse to the key:
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run'
In the right pane, delete the value called 'Antivirus', if it exists.
Exit the registry editor.
Restart your computer.
Delete the following files:
c:\a.exe
c:\av.exe
%WinDir%\av.exe
%WinDir%\b.exe
Note: %WinDir% is a variable. By default, this is C:\Windows (Windows 95/98/Me/XP) or C:\WINNT (Windows NT/2000).
Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.
In Internet Explorer, click Tools -> Internet Options.
Click the Programs tab -> Reset Web Settings.
