What the??!?! This pic is soooo odd. It looks like a composite pic of an old 50's 3d movie with some cameras and a Mars landscape.

Folks this is REAL!!! IT'S BUSH'S LATEST NEW CONFERENCE! He needed the 3-d glasses to get the reporters to continue to buy his Bushit...

"I can see the end of the Iraq invasion! Oh, Osama seems to be floating in the air! No wonder Bush can't catch him!!!"

HA!

(Really, it's a NASA news conference, but what an odd pic)

1. Yes, but note the
cameraman on the right.

He can't even stomach it with 3-D's or through a camera. Bmwaaaah!

2. gee...that's.....stupid
Unless the tv camera's have 3D also, and people's televisions, it's kinda pointless, don't you think?

But then again, I'm probably the only person on the planet who could care less about going to Mars.

4. no...and I hate the whole concept of NASA
I don't like spending millions so science geeks can circle jerk eachother while people go hungry at night in this country.

I also hate it because I know where it'll lead to.

The colonization and weaponization of space - by America. After we destroy this planet we'll just leave it - and the billions of poor behind. Only the rich will live in outer space, if that is what the ultimate goal of space exploration is.

If, on the other hand, the purpose is to increase our knowledge of the universe - then I still don't care because we know less about the deepest depths of the ocean than we do about the far reaches of space.

And I hazard to guess there's more interesting things to be found under the sea than out by the stars.

But I've always been an ocean freak who resented stargazers. :D
