I saw a botched robbery today
I was at the grocery store with my family. The clerk in the next aisle had just opened his register to give change to his customer when the guy pointed and said to the clerk, "Do you see that guy over there?" When the clerk turned to look the customer leaned over the counter and grabbed a fistful of twenties.

The clerk saw the movement and grabbed the guys hand. "What are you doing?" he asked. There was this long pause and the customer let go of the money and started shouting crap about racists clerks accusing all their black customers of stealing when they were just trying to get their change and how he was never going to shop at the bleeping store again and that he was going to bash the clerk's face in if he ever saw him outside of the store and there were witnesses who saw the whole thing and they would kick the clerk's ass too if they believed in justice.

It was surreal. Fortunately the would be thief left when the manager walked up and asked what the problem was. For a moment there it seemed as if a violent outcome was unavoidable. My girls were pretty shook up over the whole thing, but not nearly as much as the poor clerk. Whatever they pay that clerk, it's was not nearly enough today.

3. Wow, That Is A Trip
strange and surreal sounding too.

Glad you are all okay, shook up you can get over.

Not fun, you just never know what you will run into when you walk out the door.
