Sure, he had the right idea in trying to get us to eat spinach, but out of a freakin' can??? That's awful! No wonder kids learned to hate that stuff. Now, if Popeye had only learned to saute it in a little, yes, olive oil, with some crushed garlic and red pepper flakes, kids would have been eating that stuff like it was candy! In fact, they would gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger topped with sauteed spinach today!

I don't care how strong he is - I want to kick Popeye's ASS!!!!

That gives them that little "something" in the background that will have diners trying to figure out what tastes so good.

If you don't want to mess with cooking greens, say if you're making spinach/cheese ravioli or enichladas or spinach/artichoke dip, go with frozen spinach. Cans? For beans, ok, but not spinach.
