My daughter's repaired self haircut is really cute!
She got ahold of my shears and did her own hair this morning. Thankfully she did not take so much off that it was unable to fix.

I am not posting photos because she is not at an age where she could consent to that (5 years old) and her safety comes first.

Suffice to say, her hair was previously almost to the middle of her back, but it is now just below her chin.

2. Save a picture for HER though. She will get a kick out of it!
At five, she decided she "needed" a new look! LOL!

4. I HATED my long hair when I was a kid.
So much so my teachers called my mother and told her to cut it because it was depressing me. I never thought about taking the scissors to it. God, why didn't I? Oh yeah, I lived with parents who would have beaten the shit out of me for it. I'm glad you are a better parent and laughed it off. It's only hair after all and it will grow back. I'm so thankful you let your kids be kids. I'm sure the haircut is adorable.

5. It is
Initially I was very shocked. Poor girl started crying because I was upset. But after a short while, I started to laugh. I told her that next time she wanted a haircut, that she should tell me and I will take her to the stylist.

It is all good.
