If a person is on someone's "ignore" list ... how would they know?

1. The ignorer tells the ignoree more often then not.

It's kind of like when a kid sticks his fingers in his ears and shouts "lalalalalala." Telling the other person you're ignoring them is the whole point.

2. There are now several kinds of ignore.

If you're on the old-school ignore, you might be able to tell because you can't send that person text messages. However, some people have it set so they can receive no text messages from anyone, so that's not foolproof.

If you're on the new super-ignore, you can tell because you can't reply to someone's posts. It literally says "Cannot reply" instead of "reply" at the bottom of their posts.

I was wondering why I wasn't getting many replies ... now I can be reasonable sure that it's just that people think my posts are idiotic, not just being automatically ignored ...

They are going to prevent people from talking shit about you if you have them blocked. I like that a LOT. And I'm glad the list will be shown.
