My sister just called, my brother and sister in law have been involved in a bad car accident near Lexington Kentucky, they have been taken to Lexington University Hosp ..
The hsopital won't give me any info over the phone .. My brother called my sister and was able to tell her where they are and that they are both badly hurt, she's having MRI done now ...

My brother Keith and his wife Corrine are being released from hospital this morning according to the charge nurse. They have no life threatening injuries and will going to a hotel near the hospital. We'll make arrangements to get them back to Ontario from there. Their car is a total write off. They were very lucky to have come out of it ok. They apparently are banged up and bruised, cuts etc, but nothing life threatening. Thank you ALL for your thoughts and prayers!

I was very concerned and have been checking back for an update. Glad to hear that they'll be okay.

55. I just spoke to my brother .. they were hit by a tanker truck

The truck was changing lanes and lost control, hitting them and sending them into a spin. Their car T-boned (his words) the guardrail, broke through it and came to rest in the ditch. It took firefighters 1/2 hour to get them out of the car with jaws of life.

They were SO lucky. Thank God for rescue workers who kept things under control and were able to get them transported to the hospital as quickly as possible.

thanks to all of you for your prayers, good thoughts and vibes, etc.

They are waiting for their rental car to be delivered then they will head back home this afternoon. He insists he's ok to drive and will call if he needs help. I'm right in the middle between Lexington and where he lives in Ontario. Would have gladly driven to KY to pick them up. Brothers are SO stubborn! Especially baby brothers :)
