1. Silver threads and golden needles...
Wait...nevermind. I've heard that doesn't work.

5. Take time, heal yourself, maybe find somebody better.
It sucks, but it's all you can do.

6. ask to be shown what it is I'm supposed to learn from the experience
Edited on Thu Jan-18-07 09:22 PM by idgiehkt
That is what I do when I get fixated on someone only to find out they aren't 'the one' that I thought they were. My mantra lately has been 'show me, show me, show me' as in show me what I am supposed to learn from this, so I can learn it and move on. It just takes time. Having a new crush doesn't hurt.

It won't really mend a broken heart, but it'll help a battered ego.... which IMHO, is one of the first steps to healing. Almost everyone who has been dumped questions their self worth at one time or another. I don't know if "dumped" applies to you or not, just guessing.. but broken heart usually = dumped ....if you broke up with them, you're usually not gonna be too broken hearted about it...

Good luck to you, my friend... it will get better

PEACE!

Ghost
