Looks like I found an apartment

The landlord seemed pretty enthusiastic about me renting it too... so much so that he offered to put a stacked washer/dryer into the unit (because my side-by-side would not fit in the space). He's a cat person, so my cats are welcome. The price is VERY right on this apartment.

It's less than half a mile from where I live now. My son just informed me that he won't stay where we are now, he's also looking for another place.

(For those who don't know... I'm running away from home. Living w/ my son has become too difficult.)

Anyway, it shouldn't be too difficult to move given the short distance. I'm leaving some furniture and dishes for my kid.

I'm actually kind of excited. I've never lived alone before.
