Hamburger Truck Overturns On Highway

Eastbound traffic has been stalled since last night on Interstate 70 in Rostraver where a tractor trailer truck overturned and spilled a load of hamburger product. :shrug:

The driver, whose name has not been released, was trapped inside the cab of the truck for nearly two hours before rescuers were able to free him.

State police said the accident was reported at 11:26 p.m. last night in the eastbound lanes within a half mile of the exit to Route 51 in Rostraver.

The driver lost control on the ice-slickened highway and turned over. The rig also struck another vehicle.

State police ordered the road closed until the wreckage and the spilled load could be cleaned up.

Traffic was being detoured to the Arnold City exit onto Finley Road, which runs parallel to the highway.
