24!!!! (Spoiler Alert!)
Edited on Sun Jan-14-07 09:10 PM by YellowRubberDuckie
Hour 2 is on now. Wow. Wow. All I can say, and we missed the first half hour of hour one. Jack is free and kicking ass and taking names, with no help from the new president...Palmer's Brother. Apparently they are talking about burning the Constitution!

7. Twenty months since Jack was taken by the Chinese
Spoilers...

Last eleven months have seen the U.S. ravaged by a series of suicide bombings with 900 dead.

The head terrorist says he'll stop if it can be arranged for Jack to be handed over to him.

3. Being a *24* fan...
I thought the season premiere was very good and full of non-stop action. All the torture and that icky way that Jack killed that bad guy by biting into his jugular vain made me want to :puke:

I'll be anxiously awaiting tomorrow night.

6. Pretty gross....
when he gnawed into the neck and then spit out the vein and all the bodily fluids.

I am, however, glad they keep pushing the envelope. That's what makes this show so fun to watch.:bounce:

8. I didn't even catch that, but you're right.
If he's sleeping upside down, hanging from the roof of a cave, tomorrow night, then we'll know.

5. Spoiler Alert on the 1st Half Hour

No big secret that Jack has been held by the Chinese for 2 years. Below is why he returned.

Palmer made a deal with the Chinese to return Jack. Reason is Fayed(sp) wants them to turn over Jack for killing his brother for a bombing of American Embassy in Lebanon in 99. Jack tortured his brother supposedly.

In return for giving over Jack, Fayed will tell them the location of Assad who is supposed to be behind the terrorist attacks in U.S.

As Buchanan handcuffs Jack to grate for Fayed to pick up, Jack says he stayed alive in China cause he didn't want to die for nothing, now he can die for something.

Morris and Chloe try to follow Jack with a private satellite but get busted by Fayed. After some more brutal torturing by Fayed, Jack escapes by biting guard in the neck. Nice gruesome scene.

Amazing how this show is loved by the Bush Admin folks and that apparently a lot of the writers/producers are RWingers, but they do expose in fiction the excesses and threats of this government. And glad to have a Palmer back in the WH. I'll always love David Palmer, but so far little brother Wayne is not doing too bad though he needs to stick to his brother's principles more.
