VICTORYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! GOOOOOO PATS!!!
Damn, though, they sucked fucking ass most of the time. :eyes: My mom almost keeled over when the Ghost made that kick. She really did keel over when the Charger kicker missed.

Whadda game.

*wipes sweat from forehead*

Brady drives me fucking crazy, but he nearly always comes through in the end.

Dayum.

1. Fricken Patriots. ..
Always mkaing it to the playoffs... and giving their fans exciting games and super bowl victories "Grumbles"

The Dolphins will have their day . . . "Makes angry fist" OUR DAY SHALL COME . . .

. . .

. . .

. . .

Just probably not anytime soon.

3. Hell, the Pats were laughably bad for a long time until Brady and Belichick.
Edited on Sun Jan-14-07 08:48 PM by WritingIsMyReligion
Even then, it took a few years to get into a rhythm.

Dolphins will be back soon. Football goes in cycles, just like politics and, really, most everything in the world.

OTS, I was impressed by rookie Gostkowski's performance. 2 long FGs, one of which was game-winning. Nice job. It's gotta suck to be the Chargers' kicker, though. He'll have a rather rotten offseason, second only to the Cowboys' guy.

10. Yah one day they'll return . .
Until then . . I remain a grumpy fins fan . .

of course. . a little secret.. if we were in the playoffs.. I probably still be grumpy . . just not as vocal about it ;).

The Cowboy's guy is going to have a rotten off season . . but I have hopes he'll bounce back from it . . cause he had a good season to help get them their in the first place. I never do like the idea of Quaterback's having to set up for a field goal . . they have enough pressure throughout the game to begin with.

4. On 1 hand, I'm ecstatic that they're in for another week.
OTOH, I'm upset that I have another week of nerves, and I'm not really an avid Pats fan--more of a fair weather one. :P

5. that's what being a fan is all about

"fan" is short for "fanatic". fair weather types, and
otherwise.

6. Whatever
Seahawks lost today in OT so nothing else matters anymore (at least NFL wise).

It was a good game, hawks played well, but we still lost.

but yea for your team - go pats - woohoo

8. Awww man, I'm sorry.
:(

I liked watching the Seahawks play in the Bowl last year. I was pulling for them against the Steelers. (ANYBODY but the Steelers and the Colts can win!)

12. Yeah, I'm kinda over that finally
And I really wanted them in, but no luck.

I'm no fair weahter fan though. To me, playoffs 3 years straight and one of them being a Superbowl makes them tops in my book!

GO HAWKS - GET EM NEXT YEAR!!!

I'm not even sure who to root for for the rest of the post-season...

25. I will have to barricade myself in the house. There is no way in hell I'll be torn away from the TV
for that one. Long story, but 21 years ago, this poor Bear fan-boy was unable to watch SuperBowl XX and that's always been a little hole in my sports loving soul. It took almost ten years after the damn game for me to even get a video of it. Now I got the whole 1985 season on DVD.

I rarely follow sports anymore, but I ALWAYS will have a soft spot in my heart for the Patriots, the Red Sox, and the Bruins. You can take the girl out of New England but you can't take New England out of the girl.

31. An over-rated team beat an overhyped one. Yawn.

Just kidding, Brady's amazing. Damn, I feel for Schottenheimer, though.

Oh well, Saints have to face someone in the Super Bowl. Brady, Manning, who cares? Though it would be odd to see the first Saints Super Bowl to be against the first Manning to make it to a Super Bowl. Probably would feel weird to Archie, too.

...not this time. It's like Starr-Unitas all over again...Brady & Co will just find a way to win...
