Good morning, everyone!

I just finished up my first week on my new job working 3rd shift. I got to bed at 1pm yesterday and set my alarm for 8pm. I wanted to try to keep the same sleep pattern through the weekend so I don't get messed up on my job. I slept right through the alarm and woke up at 2am this morning. I'm glad that I didn't have to go to work today. I'm going to have to crank up the volume on that alarm clock.

The new job is excellent despite the odd hours. Good pay and I get plenty of exercise on the job now because I have to unload my own truck. I have 6 stops that I have to make a night and that also helps to keep me alert. I've been waiting a long time for a job like this. It's a local deal that pays almost as good as driving long haul. The benefits are good as well.
