4. When someone gives a phone number with 0 in it, they say o instead of zero.
This is starting to piss me off, damn it.

11. Hey, it could be worse
In Portuguese (at least in Brazil), there's an idiom to say "meia," half, to represent digit six in phone numbers and such. I assume the connection is that when it's half past the hour, the big hand is of course pointing at 6, but in phone numbers it's kinda out of context. But they do use it.
