EASTON | The trial of a high school teacher charged with corrupting minors came to a sudden end Wednesday when his body was found in the front passenger seat of a car parked at his Bethlehem home.

Police found Snyder's body at 9:42 a.m. in the front passenger seat of his white Oldsmobile, which was parked inside a garage attached to his home, Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek said.
Police and firefighters wearing air packs used large fans and opened doors and windows to air out Snyder's house. It was unclear if the car was running, Lysek said.
Authorities would not say whether Snyder died of natural causes or committed suicide. Lysek said the cause and manner of death are pending the results of an autopsy scheduled for today.

Four teens testified against Snyder on Monday and Tuesday, telling jurors their former teacher paid them a base salary for doing chores at his home, which he dubbed "Snyderland." The teens could earn tips if they wore wrestling singlets, Speedo bikini swimsuits and thongs, or went shirtless. One teen said Snyder offered him money to pose nude for photographs, but the teen declined.
