I wanna blow you minds!!! What was your worst nightmare ever?
Yeah! Come on!

Gimme Watcha got!

Tell the most horrifying nightmare you ever had!!!

For me,the other night,it was awful..

I was living back in my childhood home,in a small town

and it was a beautiful spring day but...Something was very wrong.

There was a lot of animals everywhere and they where running

and bouncing,rabbits,squirrels,and everything was great...

But then...A weird thing happened...It was not a Disney

movie anymore.

It was more like those documentaries where you see

the real thing,but worst,far worst!

Every creatures were attacking each other and tearing apart

their limbs and flesh, eating each other, the biggest eating the

smallest and weakest, and those animals were not all wild creature,

there was also cats and dogs and domestic birds...

I'll spare you the gory details but I woke up in sweat.

One of the worst nightmare I ever had!

And you?

What was your worst nightmare ?

(BTW:True nightmare 3 nights ago)

1. My worst
was being chased by the stay puff marshmellow man...I had to hide in a tent, which had magical powers against marshmellows...and while I was hiding in the tent, the pavement turned to water, and I started paddling towards shore. Than I realized Jaws, plus the Stay Puff Marshmellow man were swimming right behind me....Jaws came up on me, to take a chomp outta my hide...

And I woke up....

I have a lot of messed up superman/flying dreams...much like that moran from The Greatest American Hero(he can't control his flying), I fly around, and fall to the earth multiple times, while trying to reign in the ability....

6. yes, really...
In the hit comedy movie The Ghostbusters, the group of ghost fighting men, at the end of the flick, fight a huge Marshemellow Man, called Mr. Stay Puff....a demon, from another dimension, created the Stay Puff Marshellow man, to kill the Ghost Busting team....

In the movie, Mr. Stay Puff Marshemellows, were a generic brand of marshemellows, much like Kraft, or something of that nature. If you really want to know about him, I recommend watching The Ghostbusters starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroid....

13. I have no idea...
This dream happened while I was in Junior high, so the marshemellow man, was probably just a personification of the people who teased me. And I was trying to get away...and Jaws...I hate/afraid of sharks immensly...

7. I'v heard a lot of stories, similiar to yours...
The cherokee, and navajo nation, work with medicine...medicine can be good, or bad...and some of the bad medicine, gets carried out in stories, similiar to the one you shared. Medicine being more like...faith, or prayers in a sense...good medicine=praying for good stuff to happen, bad medicine=praying evil/mean things happen to whomever you wish it upon.

10. It happened at a time in my life
when i was drinking and other things heavily

I think it was some kind of a warning that the booze "had me" so to speak and was crushing the life out of me. At least I took it that way, and it did have some influence in my decision to stop, a small piece of the puzzle of influence, but there nonetheless

20. Could Be
you know what is interesting to me about how I came to a decision to get into recovery is that there were lots of damned reasons to quit, but this dream, some experiences with hallucinogens, and really rather existential things are what got to me more than anything else.

Your dreams are your dreams, and what they mean to you in the context of your life is what is important. If you have a problem, then maybe your dreams are telling you something about what course of action to take. I don't think that dreams just "happen" with no context.

i've had several of those dreams over the past few years- it's actually a sleep paralysis thing...try googling the subject- it's very interesting, and actually more common than you think.

12. Don't ask me why,
but my family and I are climbing up a tall metal structure much like an oil rig. Millions of stairs just going up and up and up and we're all climbing. We're actually quite cheerful the whole time, talking and laughing.

At one point we decide to take a break on one of the landings. As we are just standing there, enjoying the break, my brother leans against one of the outside rails....it breaks.

We watch him fall, in what seems like slow motion, the hundreds of feet to the ground. I remember my mother and I looking down at him falling in these wide mouthed, silent screams. The worst part was when I locked eyes with him and saw the pure terror on his face because he knew he was falling to his death.

Worst. Dream. Ever.

I almost called my brother in the middle of the night just to make sure he was ok. :scared:

Fighting someone much bigger and stronger than I am (and I'm 6'2" 250 lbs, 200 lbs of which is muscle and bone), with only a teeny-tiny knife the width of a pencil lead. And even when I stabbed him in the jugular vein with it, he didn't bleed.

34. I've had that one
It's like slow motion, like I'm trying to throw a punch underwater. I'm trying to hit as hard as I can but the punches are barely slaps. Yeah, it's definitely about being powerless.

Then there's the one where I forgot that I had registered for a class only to remember a few days before the final. This one is about anxiety.

Then I have another one where I'm supposed to be somewhere, people are waiting for me, but I can't get my shit together. Can't find my clothes, can't find my keys, can't find my shoes, and it just goes on and on and on. I'd say this one is about frustration.

I almost always know in the back of my mind that I'm dreaming but the one I had a few days ago was very disturbing. I was trying to wake myself up but couldn't.

Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep- while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

I was very small and I think Sunday School (baptist) was getting to me. So I am out at night and this man of light comes after me, I mean the guy is like as tall as the Sears tower and he's chasing me, I look up and as far as I can see there is the light man. Scared the shit out of me and still give me chills when I think about it.

37. I have the most colorful dreams in my immediate family...
Well other than my mom. I get dreams that are so bizarre it's beyond trying to decipher what the hell they mean. I have been told by a psychic that I should start keeping a dream journal and documenting my dreams.

Like last night I had this dream that McDonald's was sending it's employees around my neighborhood and leaving food on our doorstep. It was some new service or some shit they were trying out. I remember getting out of my room and going towards the front door. I had seen that someone had spraypainted something on the front windows from the outside. The colors were coral and sea green... colors are important... then I see the employees and they had laid the food on the ground and I start accusing them of vandalizing my dad's home. They said that they didn't do it but they had seen a boy do it. Of course they couldn't identify him or even know where he lived. Then I just take the food: four large fries and hamburgers but no drinks, WTF?
Then it was the next day and I get up from bed, go out the front door and there is the same amount of food on the front steps. I bring it in and my dad comes in the living room, he starts laying into me about my money management and I explain to him that McDonald's is bringing food to the home for three days. I don't say anything about cost as I assumed it was a free thing. he never said anything about the grafitti on the window. I then eat the food.

I can't remember much what happened in the dream.

It was weird one.

BTW, I want to ask, does anyone else get dreams about DU and/or the admins? I get some really cool dreams sometimes about this website though I can't remember them off hand.

Anyway the interesting things are the graffiti on the window

and the (small)conflict between you and your father.

41. A dream about a friend
In this dream we had been dating for awhile, and in that time we had had no physical relationship to speak of. Then one day she just up and leaves to points unknown. Finally a friend of hers tells me that she went back to an old boyfriend of hers. She comes back and begs me to take her back and start over. I find out from one of her friends that she's now pregnant. That's when I woke up and it shook me more than any other dream I've had.

No weird LSD-like trips or anything, just a very unsettling story.

52. It's not the worst nightmare I had, but it's a dream that changed my life twice
I dreamed I caught my best friend in bed with my boyfriend, and I was angry at both of them, and they were both acting like *I* was the one who was out of line, and finally I wound up REALLY REALLY SCREAMING at my friend that I hated her drama and it felt like being stabbed in the back.

I pretty much let her go as a friend after that, 'cause the dream revealed something very real.

A few years later I was in a sort of similar situation, and I suddenly remembered the dream and it told me I couldn't be friends with someone anymore.

43. Damn, apparently my dreams are freakishly bad.
I have not had a really bad dream for some time but i used to have some real doozies.

I had a similar dream to what you describe but it was infants and not animals.

The worst one is very dark. A little too dark to share. :(

I did have a reoccurring "bad dream" in my teen years. It would change a little but here is the gist...In the dream my father (he had been dead several years when i began having the dream) took me aside and said he wanted to show me something.

He took me outside and showed me that there was a secret cellar type thing under the garage. A stone covered the entry to it on the outside of the garage and he told me that if anything ever happened to bring my brothers and hide them there.

Then i was in the kitchen with my mother. I had a doll and it had a drop of blood on it. My mother took it over to a utility sink and filled the sink with water. She placed the doll in the sink and the water all turned a dark blood red. When her hands touched the water, she changed. She was the same person but something in her face became like a stranger. She had this blank, scary look.

Outside there was a commotion and she ran outside. I saw that men in black military type uniforms were dropping out of the sky. I gathered my brothers and hid them in a closet. I could only take them out to the garage one at a time. I grabbed the youngest, who was an infant at the time and told my other two brothers to wait for me. I took the baby outside and lowered him into the cellar.

When i went back into the house to get the other two, my mother was standing at the head of a firing squad of the men in black. My two younger brothers and my father were being aimed at. My mother called out fire. And i would wake.

you're in there?

Had a very vivid dream once that this was happening but it was a full-grown and very unfriendly tiger. I was reading The Prince of Tides at the time, lol GO FIGURE!!!

The worst was a new-mom dream when my eldest daughter was 2 moinths old. Dreamt the fake Christmas tree fell on her and one branch went through her eye. THAT was creepy.

In fact, last night I dreamt we had a gorilla in the house and he was getting bigger and more mature and scary so I had to find a place for him. Sheesh. Just remembered that while writing about the tiger dream.

56. Running through a house with a million rooms, being chased.
Sometimes alone, sometimes with others. Finding hiding places, hiding other people (children, babies), then running, running, running. Finding a safe place and then having to move again. Being chased by zombies, monsters, vampires.

I've had this dream since I was a very small child and I still have it.

58. There's this sound, I think it's around 11-14Khz on a shortwave radio.
Edited on Wed Jan-10-07 12:21 PM by Poll_Blind
The nearest earthly sound comparable is like putting your ear next to a continuously-blasting fog horn on a ship or a barge. Anyway, this sound, it could be the voice of god, or the devil or more likely both of them at once in some sort of timeless scream. I used to listen to it when I wrote because I could explore the things I heard in that sound. It is very familiar to me. No matter how low the volume on the receiver, the sound seemingly fills every space in a room, even faintly.

One night I had just flown home on a late flight from Buffalo back to Oregon. I was doing that a lot at the time and because I could not smoke on the flights I wore a nicotine patch. I was very tired and so I fell asleep with it on. This is the only fragment I remember:

I was in a space, a white space. Like something you'd see in 2001: A space odyseey, except without the white furniture. I guess more like the white space that represents The Matrix when there isn't anything in it. I almost always dream in color at first I thought this space was filled with something most-easily described as fleshy, gory tires. They were wiggling and writhing but mostly they were continuing to turn inside out, again and again. The bloody flesh, sometimes entrails, sometimes a skinned face but all connected and glistening with blood would rotate along the body of the tire but not clockwise or counter-clockwise. Instead it rotated from the inside of the tauroid to the outside and under and back up through the middle to begin again.

And there was that sound, louder than I'd ever heard it before, blasting. Blasting unceasingly, like the sound the sun might make if you could hear it. It probably never changed pitch but it alway seemed to be getting louder. Anyway, overlooking this vista of writing fleshy tires, continually turning themselves inside out, sometimes with ropey entrails slapping the ground as they transversed the surface area of the doughnut shape, the sound was constantly blasting.

Except there was something I hadn't heard before, or something I hadn't been able to discerned. Very faintly, under all this roar, like the roar of an ocean of fire, was a tinny hiss and the hiss became a voice and the voice said "This is life."

And it came to me, as revelations will come to you in dreams, that those flesy tires were people. Not dead people, but living people, continually being turned inside out, again and again. And that the wriggling and shuddering in-place was a substitute for screaming because their mouths were nolonger corporeal. Creatures wracked by the unimaginable pain of being continuously turned inside-out, unable to cry out, only able to shudder. Very close to each other like those tires they put down so football players can run through them to keep their steps high.

And it just said that over and over again but it wasn't words, per se, the tone of the hiss was the feeling and the knowledge. I felt it was the voice of god or, I should more accurately state a god. Anyway, these people-tires were just close enough so that that the entrails and hair which were writing over the surface would occasionally slap an entrail or a bit of hair or whathaveyou on a nearby "tire". I remember my view changed from a vista to about 5 different shots of this tire-gore touching other tire-gore.

And the hiss that had told me in one continuous note that "this is life" altered frequency and now the sound meant "And this is love". So the incidental slappings of intestines and skin flaps and whatever were the best that one could hope for, was the message it was conveying. "Life is pain, continuous pain, with fleeting moments of connection between these pathetic, pain-riddled things." was the message. That the relief from interaction with others is a momentary respite from some continuous infliction of pain.

That's what I remember of it. I'm grateful I can't remember any more. The image was so clear and so truly frightening and so very clearly recalled- in real time the whole dream maybe took like 10 seconds or something. It was very depressing and very disturbing and graphic- I have a strong aversion to graphic imagery.

I didn't realize it had anything to do with the nicotine patch until I fell asleep a few more times with a patch on. I can best describe the dreams as "apocalyptic or eschatological" in nature. Very disturbing, often with this 11-14Khz sound I'm mention a few times.

SO incredibly vivid and horrific and pathetic. I do not recommend sleeping with a nicotine patch on.

Most of my dreams are really "neat" and colorful and fantastic and almost-always cheery which is why this stands out in my recollection. The nicotine patches always gave me really, really vivid dreams if I fell asleep with one one.

59. This happened in the summer of 1999
I dreamt I was on a huge passenger ship. It was night time and I was standing at the rail looking out over the ocean. Behind me, all the passengers were having a huge party in the ship's ballroom - I could see all their fancy evening dresses, and the lights and everything. I had the strange sensation that I didn't really belong there, or wasn't really there, like I was a spirit or something, rather than an actual passenger. And I felt like something was wrong.

Anyway, I felt a presence behind me and I turned around. There was a man behind me, all in black. I can't describe his face at all, but I knew when I saw him that he was the "dark man", like Flagg in The Stand, or the Devil, if you want to put it that way. It was very strange, because I couldn't see his face, but I could see the facial expressions at the same time, or know what they were. It's hard to explain. It was like he was just a mass of darkness visually, but I could also "see" him.

I knew he wasn't there for me, that he couldn't touch me. I knew he was there for the other people. But at the same time, he was clearly making his presence known to me. He was smiling at me, but the smile never reached his eyes. He wanted to let me know he was there. Then he turned and walked into the ballroom.

Then entire time in this dream, I had the most overwhelming feeling of sickness and dread and fear I've ever felt in my life. It was beyond the fear of death. It was like the fear of losing one's entire being. It was absolutely horrible.

I woke up because my boyfriend was shaking me and calling my name. Apparently I had sat up in bed, turned around, and started clawing at the headboard and screaming like I was being tortured, which of course scared the living crap out of him because he was sound asleep.

I felt totally sick the entire next day, like I was hung over. I don't even talk about that dream now after dark. Seriously. And I remember the entire thing like it was yesterday. I still wonder if it was some kind of prophetic dream about the world or my country, like a warning to me or something.

60. A couple of mine...
When I was a little girl, I often dreamed that I'd be going to visit my Gramma, but when I got to her house it was all very dark which is odd for Gramma's. I'd go into her bedroom and not see her anywhere. Then I'd hear noises and find that she was locked in the bathroom. I turn and look at her bed, and a wolf is on it. That's not the bad part though- after looking at the wolf, all of a sudden, I'm in the bed, *I'm* the wolf, and I'm staring at my Gramma- never any blood, it always went black at that point. But I knew what came next.

I'm sure you can tell where I got those dreams from! As a little girl they were frightening.

Some time after my older brother died in a car accident, I started having dreams that I was in the car with him. He would always look at me before the impact. Sometimes I saw a gruesome mess, sometimes I would just wake up, and sometimes rather then being inside the car during the impact I would be standing in the street watching it- like the moment he looked at me I'd no longer be in the car but outside watching it. Those were always pretty bad for me.

Another one that I had as a child... really it was just one scene that would interrupt a lot of my dreams. I would see a black dog, and start to come up to it, wanting to pet it. It would turn to me and smile with human teeth. I don't know why, but it really freaked me out. I would always get a sick feeling of dread and wake up, afterwards having trouble falling back asleep.

And the last one I'll share is a recent one I had- a few days after getting arrested. It's a little hazy now.

I'm hanging out in my apt. My SO comes home with the band he's been jamming with. I'm moving around doing a bit of cleaning, a bit of talking, just normal activity. They say they are going to leave for a minute to pick up beer and some other people. I continue cleaning and whatnot. So I'm in the kitchen, and I hear everyone coming back in- they set up their amps and some chairs around the computer, blocking me from leaving the kitchen. I look down, and for some reason I am completely naked. I cover myself the best I can with my hands, and try to make my way between an amp and a chair, and I can't get through. Everybody just gives me an annoyed look. My SO doesn't even notice. This goes on for a few minutes (dream minutes anyways)- I'm totally embarrassed and upset at this point, and finally I manage to get through and sprint towards my room. Only in my dream my hallway is a long school hallway, and the lights are off. The darkness doesn't bother me, I just want to get to my room and put something on, I can't believe I have nothing on. I finally get to the end of the hallway, where I know my room is. I open the door, and it's very dark in there except for a dim light on the opposite side of the room from where my bed is. It is just enough light to show me there is somebody/something and I know it is someTHING deep down. I try to switch on the light, but it doesn't come on. The thing moves. I slam the door and run away from my room, running to ask my SO and the men to see what's in my room. And then I notice I'm still naked.

At this point I was woken up by my SO's dad calling, so I have no idea where that dream was going. But it made me feel very sick inside, and I had trouble falling asleep again.

I'd love to hear more stories.

My scariest dream when I was a child was one in which I was attacked and stung to death by bees. I could feel them going into my mouth, into my ears, on my eyelids, under my skirt. I had very long hair at the time and they were caught in my hair and I could feel them furiously trying to pull away once they'd entangled themselves. There was no pain; at first it was only shock. By the time the shock wore off what I felt was myself becoming numb and slowly losing consciousness at which point I awoke.

As an adult I can't pick one out. I've had nightmares for years and years, at least once monthly and there is no obvious reason for it except maybe a fear of life in general. The theme doesn't vary much (imminent death) though the setting does. I am always in a dangerous situation and usually there is somebody following me with a weapon and he intends to kill me. Alternatively, I am anticipating a natural or manmade disaster - a tsunami for example - and I am making preparations so I will not die, but I do. The last dream was a couple days after new year and I was living with my children inside (somehow) a world of amusement park rides and aerobatic equipment. Living there I was rarely on the ground but rather making my way like spiderwoman along the framework. I knew our world was going to be destroyed and I was trying to find and save my children. Died in that one too! Death never hurts.

70. Wow That's A Trippy Combination Of Dreams
death dreams, no pain, someone chasing you, bees, natural disasters, losing consciousness.

all fear based obviously. Spiderwoman, saving your kids.

You are an interesting person crim son.

I posted one of my dreams above.

Here's another one that is strange:

I'm living in Utah in this dream. I am all excited because I went to the store and came home with this barrel. We had a little over an acre out in the country there and I took the barrel out to the area that was basically a field by where our horses were. I was so excited and started opening the barrel. My mother comes out and says what have you got there? I said "it's an outdoor terrarium. (weird) And bugs, and plants, and little furry animals are all coming out of the barrel and the excitement is palpable, then I hear my mother say "that's great! what are you going to do when the rattlesnake comes out?" I feel panic. I freak out and am trying to get the lid back on and I can't move fast enough, then I wake up.--

I can read a lot of things into that one and have. I'm always fascinated by dreams though and wish I remembered more than I do. Since I have a sleep disorder and use CPAP at night, (makes me very romantic looking when I have my CPAP on too I can tell you) I think it robs me of my dream memories.

72. What is CRAP? Laughing.
Poor Pawpicker.

That dream is way cool, a variation on Pandora's Box, sorta. Were there rattlers where you lived, BTW?

I had a conversation with the STBE this a.m. where we were discussing my tendency to have nightmares. He said, in short, that there must be something wrong with me, and doesn't he ever show up to save me? I laughed out loud and asked why in the hell he would imagine I'd ever dream of him saving me from anything. This led to an interesting conversation. In the early years before I became relatively numb I used to dream about killing him physically the way he was killing me spiritually. Yes, dreams are at the very least a mysterious conduit to our secret selves.

73. CPAP not CRAP LOL
Continuous Positive Airway Pressure- sleep apnea, machine that forces your airway to stay open so you breathe at night. I've had it since I was in my early 20's and was skinny as a rail. I got tested and stopped breathing I forget how much, but a lot. The CPAP helps, the CRAP is just CRAP! LOL

Pandora's Box, yes, that is a good catch. Yes, there were rattlers where I lived, Western Diamondbacks.

You used to dream about killing him physically the way he was killing you spiritually. Wow. That makes me sad to think of how you must have been hurting inside. Yes, dreams are at the very least a mysterious conduit to our secret selves.

65. "the old crone"... and sleep paralysis.
i've had several of these type of dreams- and they are really scary- more of a sleep paralysis thing- where your mind "wakes up" before your body. mine usually involve nefarious intruders into our bedroom, and i am unable to move or make a sound to prevent it. the incredible reality of it all is very unnerving- supposedly it is also the cause/root of most people who think that they have been 'abducted' by ufo's.

i've had that happen as well, though- but it's usually from something like sleeping on it in such a way that circulation is decreased or something...
the actual 'sleep paralysis' i refer to is one in which your mind is more awake, but not totally so- almost like twilight anesthesia- but your entire body is still 'asleep'...it's a mechanism in human minds that 'paralyzes' your body when you sleep- so that you don't 'act out' your dreams. (at least that's how i've seen it explained)

My scariest involve abductions of my children. I'm at the local park and my kids are strong-armed away from the sandbox while I am distracted watching something else. I notice them being shoved into a van, screaming for me. I begin screaming for help but I can't - my screams are somehow silent. I always awake in a huge sweat, still trying to scream. I know when I get one of these dreams that I'm going to stay awake for the rest of the night.

87. I dreamed that we were hiking near a volcano in Hawaii
and suddenly it started erupting--not violent explosions, just a profuse lava flow that trapped us. My little boy was standing beside me, and somehow the solid rock he was standing on "broke free" and started floating away down this river of lava, and I couldn't run fast enough to catch him and save him. I remember him screaming in pain as his shoes started melting away, and I woke up nearly insane with grief and horror and fear, and woke everyone in the house up with my scream. I went and got my little boy out of bed and brought him to sleep in our bed that night--I was so shaken and hurting and terrified that I couldn't stand to have him out of my sight.

That one was definitely the worst ever.

88. A couple spring to mind
Edited on Mon Jan-15-07 01:10 AM by u4ic
It's interesting noting the differences in nightmares when I was a teenager, versus now as an adult. The former's nightmares tended to be violent; now they tend to be much more emotionally powerful.

One in particular I recall from about 25 years ago - I went to vacation with my family to a small (looked like German or Swiss) village.

A mass murderer had escaped from jail, and came to the village. He slaughtered everyone except me (he didn't notice me? As if I was invisible). He was decapitating people, and heads were flying by me; he then chopped the bodies up, or left them in bizarre positions (one couple, with heads left on, were poised on either side of a giant cuckoo clock in their home). It was a veritable bloodbath.

One I had recently, within the past couple of years, involved me having an affair with my boss, who I truly did love. I was married to a cold, distant man, and had a son; but I felt that I needed to resign my position, end the affair and focus on my family (I was also to start a business from home).

Although everyone knew what was happening (ie my husband knew about the affair, my lover knew I was ending the affair even though the only thing I had communicated to him was my resignation), everything was kept mute, but there was of course much tension brewing underneath.

I was clearing out my desk (I worked in a small office with him) when he came in and I knew from the look in his eyes he wanted to kill himself. I wanted to talk to him, yet felt that I was powerless to affect him. I my hands were full as I was taking my belongings to the car. I was going to come back and try to talk to him.

My husband was supposed to be watching our son, he was in the park nearby playing frisbee. I checked, and he wasn't there; my husband had been inattentive and let him wander off. Of course, I panicked, ran around the building only to find him safe. Then I heard a shot, and knew exactly had happened.

I had given up the love of my life for an idiot who couldn't even make sure his son was safe for a few minutes, and there was no going back...

89. recurring ones..
About every 2 weeks I have dreams about being in an elevator falling. I'm always alone, and a lot of the times I even know it's about to fall.

Same thing with airplanes.. I have a recurring dream that we're taking off and we keeping going up.. up.. up.. until the nose tips backwards and we just fall backwards (My concious mind understands physics, I swear.)

90. I rarely remember any of my dreams
the nightmare that stands out for me was maybe 10 years back when I lived alone in an apartment. But, in the dream, I awoke to see the shadow of a person creeping across my apartment with a knife in their hand, and in the dream I was too paralyzed with fear to do anything about it.

I think I have had maybe 3-4 nightmares that I can remember in adulthood. Never remembered any non nightmares, though.

91. I had a recurring dream that took up where the last one left off
I dreamed it three days in a row. It started off fairly nicely as I went about my tasks in this dream but I noticed a man a little bit away where ever I went. He was stalking me, I never worried about him though, I just noticed him. The next night the same man was there only this time he was closer and he would taunt me, he told me he would kill me the next time I saw him. The third night he caught me and took me to a prison and threw me in a cage and pulled out a pocket knife and started cutting off my legs and arms when he got to my head I just gave in and knew I was not going to live through what he was doing I decided not to panic but just go with it and see where I ended up. I woke up still here.

It was the weirdest and most unforgettable dream I've ever had. Yikes!!

I was looking at myself in the mirror and saw a zit on my face and decided to pop it.Instead of the normal stuff that popsout when you pop a zit a wiggliy little tail appeared.I pulled on it and aended up pulling a three-foot long snake outta my face! That was when my alarm clock went off and woke me up.
Strangest dream I have had in a long time.
