17. The movie was surprisingly well done, and Tim Curry was awesome...

The book terrified me...definitely stephen king's scariest...the book gave me damn nightmares...the worst part for me was the story of the lumberjack that went berserk and on a killing spree...for some reason that repulsed me so much it scared the SHIT out of me.
Anyway, I really need to pick the DVD up, it tends to be really cheap, and I'd love to watch it again...

I think it really got to me one halloween on mushrooms and there were so many clowns

but they gave me the creeps before then, it's just now it is much more intense

They are covering up their true feelings, they really want to kill and eat people

how 'Clown Alley' at the circus is just about one of the scariest places on earth and that circus clowns are incredibly twisted and scary people.

a few of my inlaws are terrified of clowns. I forgot about it one day, while one of the inlaws was over, and while they were in the back room doing laundry, I popped in IT, and when they came out with their laundry basket and saw what I was watching...they freaked. I never knew the fear of clowns was that, powerful....
