What are your favorite funny shows at the moment?
I love The Family Guy. It is sooo funny. And the few episodes of My Name is Earl that I have seen had me rolling!

5. Still looking for a "favorite"
The Family Guy, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and an occasional recent episode of The Simpsons are the only shows currently on television that have really made me laugh out loud.

13. White House Press Conferences
they have a running gag with this character named Tony Snow who just lies and lies and lies every time he opens his mouth. It's hysterical. The lies just get more and more absurd and yet he carries on as though no one notices . . . you should check it out.

Dirty Jobs (on Discovery). And the added bonus is that the host, Mike Rowe, is WAY hot.

28. Thank You!
It would have been a shame if this show hadn't been mentioned. I have the whole series on my video iPod - great for public transportation - each episode is about 22 minutes - just enough time to get from home to work, and vice versa.

30. Two and a Half Men
It's usually quite funny. My mother stopped watching it because most of the plots and jokes revolve around sex. I'm not surprised, since I always thought it was a bit too raunchy for her.

I also get a kick out of Denny Crane on Boston Legal.

34. The Office
and My Name is Earl are the only current sitcoms I really like.

I watch 30 Rock just out of an old love for Tina Fey, but it's not very good.
