Give me a reason not to go to the gym.
It's right down stairs for Jeebus sake.

I've been going 4-5 times a week since November. I'm sort of starting to see results and I'm quite addicted to the adrenaline rush.

So, why should I skip the gym today?

I'd go around 3pm EST. It's now 3:05 and I'm still in my jammies.

I'll get there soon, I swear.

6. The world will end in a few months and all that effort was wasted.

It's the dilemma I'm facing right now. And I've more reason to renege on my own NYR.

13. Spend 38 seconds in GD for a hint. But I'm a nice guy and will help you out:
Economy, Iraq, Iran, world opinion of us, Israrel, offshoring, nuclear annihilation, cost of living, gas prices, global warming, what Donald Trump said yesterday...

I've barely scratched the surface.

But the short conclusion is: GD is deadly to one's health. So is living.

20. I had no idea you were against what she was doing!
I asked why she was against America's children and she said American kids preferred ipods over education. I was floored when she made her comment a couple days later and rightly so made a post about it. Don't you dare shoot me because of what SHE said. She then goes through a very selective procedure as to who deserves education when we, as Liberals, claim (or used to, it seems) that education should be there for all. Why no boys? And why so few girls? Why posh for a few when we Liberals seem to lambaste America's other wealthy people all the time?

And Oprah is right when denouncing America's youth. We do have an educational system here and maybe we need to teach the kiddies that learning can be as much fun as providing Steve Jobs with hard earned money too. My big problem with her is she's as much a empty sensationalistic reporter as any given nightly news anchor or daytime talk show host is. As with every other problem, the news just states there is and says sod all as to how to fix it! She simply whined about America's poor and moved on without so much as a syllable as to how to fix the problem she's pissing and moaning on about. She has money therefore she has power.

Maybe America really is a dead country.

Maybe it was. I started reading responses and posted to a couple. But ultimate gave up... abject confusion; some responses were right, others were inane, and I was losing control as well - obviously I'm still not playing with a full deck of cards either... Something most of us are fettered with these days; none of us knows what really is going on. Nothing makes sense anymore.

If you have someone special to hug, hug 'em and tell 'em you appreciate it. That's how we all ought to live...

Yeah, there were quite a few responses, weren't there... also amazed it got 9 votes at the time as well.

16. I second this.
I just cleaned my apartment and I'm really not in the mood to go to the gym (mine is next door, for heaven's sake). But if the OP hasn't any other things on his plate today, he should go. I'll feel guilty about myaelf.

31. I've been doing 25-30 minutes on the treadmill.
Followed by three sets of crunches, free weights and that thingy you hang from so you can bring your knees up to work your lower abs thingy. All interchanged. Have to do extra today because we're having Skyline Chili for dinner.

19. There's TV in the gym.
Which makes it a bit more bearable to workout. Plus, I'm usually the only one down there so I get to watch whatever i want. I actually watched Speaker Pelosi's swearing in on Thursday while working out. Can you imagine watching C-SPAN at the gym? I wouldn't have put it on if anyone else was there.
