A Minor Scandal Among Republicans and Large Corporations: a "hypothetical dilemma"
Okay, let's use a hypothetical situation:

Suppose that someone found out that in a situation where there should have been no conflict of interest, there most surely was. Let's imagine if we will a large corporation that hired illegal immigrants to clean their stores. Add to that a government that decided to prosecute that corporation for that action. Warrants get put out from one prosecutorial district and served by another one that happens to be where the home offices of the large corporation is. Let's also imagine that the government prosecutor in that district makes a deal with this large corporation where they pay $11 million dollars (estimated to be about 20 minutes of profit from this corporation) in fines to make this go away. Then the government prosecutor for the district where the warrants were served, in the home base of the large corporation, quits his job as a government prosecutor and goes to work for this large corporation.

Now this government prosecutor told the media that he had no involvement with any negotiations involving this large corporation and the government as the job offer was on the table before the ink had dried for the $11 million dollar settlement.

Okay, so how would one find out about this? In my hypothetical all the facts are in the media except one, the involvement of the government prosecutor in the home district of the corporation. In this hypothetical, let's say that somehow the father of this government prosecutor, himself an attorney who is well known in the community, brags a little in a health club sauna about it. He goes on and on about how his son had been the "mastermind" of the deal that cost the large corporation so little money that they were ingratiated to him and hired him.

If this were to have happened, and I'm not saying it did, or it didn't. What could be done about it? The important information that "proves" the conflict of interest is really all here-say, and is probably well hidden and covered up.

Any thoughts? About the hypothetical of course ;)

3. Hypothetical Shit Is Right!
I'd love to see it hit

how do you make it hit when the source is the father of the US Attorney, who now works for a large "hypothetical" LOL corporation that really kind of owns the state in which he, and I live.

Hypothetically of course.

:pals:

6. Well Wu Could Be Wight!
W is the first letter of a large corporation in this state I live in and could be the hypothetical one in the OP>

and that W corporation did settle for $11 million dollars over their hiring of illegal immigrants through a contractor for cleaning services.

Hypotheticals are interesting

5. Yup, There Ain't Gonna Be No Deep Throat I Don't Suspect
when the family is made up of lawyers that run the community to a large extent, the son has his bases covered I'm sure, and the corporation owns the state basically.

all hypothetically of course
