2. Give the guy credit
It takes a lotta guts to get up there after what he's been through. Same goes for Kirk Douglas.

10. Enjoy! I think of you every time I look at my
license plates, btw. ;-)
Day-um. He is hot. What did you think of Freddy Mercury? I thought he was "HOT". His talent superseded anything else, and always will; no one has captured me like he and their music did, and I'm going back a long way.

14. Hmmmm.
I can see the image, but maybe I'm being deceived. No -- the image was that of Maynard James Keenan -- Tool's lead singer.

Here's a link to some pics. I especially like his geisha look with the white face make-up and long ponytail.

18. OMG
did you go to the SS concert at the Shrine a few months ago?

I ended up front row, center.

The lead singer IS a hottie. Sigh.

16. He's made huge strides from last year.
Last year was difficult to watch- he was barely intelligible. Still, though- it's incredible he's still at it all these years.

17. It was kind of sad...
He was still kind of slurring his speech and was certainly not the Dick Clark of old...which in that respect kind of made watching "New Year's Rockin' Eve" kind of depressing but he definitely is better than last year. I was talking to my college roommate shortly after midnight and she told me she had to turn it off because it was kind of bumming her out. I stuck it out strictly because it was tradition.
