We had plans, but then my brother got sick, Briarius is sick, our kiddo didn't nap, and I don't feel so fantastic myself. Looks like a quiet night in, for us... Who else will be around at midnight EST?

13. This is our first real snowfall. It's been raining and 40 degrees

for days; finally it's started snowing. It's wet and slippery and I'm staying home watching the Twilight Zone marathon.

They just started showing the one where William Shatner sees the gremlin on the airplane wing.

4. Midnight EST is only 10:00 here. I don't know if I'll be consistently around or not -

We'll probably be playing cards or darts or board games and eating and drinking.

11. Thanks! It's what we do every year.

We have a little "countdown" celebration with the kids around 8 or 9:00, then put them to bed with a movie on. Then we put in music or find something good on TV, eat yummy food, and have a few drinks while we play games.
