Poll question: Should I eat the beef in my freezer?
I have some ground round in my freezer that I had bought before the mad cow thing got really scary. It's only about 10 bucks' worth, but I'm hungry.

Should I eat it or throw it out?

1. Eating beef in your freezer? Won't you get cold in there?
Dude, eat the beef, unless it's got brain matter in it. We're safe.

4. Sure, but just to be on the safe side,
I'd marinate it in hydrogen peroxide for a couple of days.

5. Not a good idea...
I did that to my wifes head. It made her a blonde. Now she can't even find the freezer.

6. Eat the beef but get a meat thermometer.
It should all be cooked to at least 160F anyway. You're safe.

7. Honey, throw it out.
Is your health worth the amount of money that was tied up in that beef? $10.00?

I'm as cheap as they come, but whenever something looks suspect in my fridge, or it's been in the freezer too long, I just toss it into the garbage.

Your health is much more important. Remember, prevention is much better (and cheaper!) than the cure.

8. UPDATE:
I ate some of it.

Feeling a little "mad," but no more than usual.
