Any computer/printer pro's around- help me save some $$$!
I recently installed a new motherboard. It is an asus a8n32-sli deluxe. I have a Konica minolta 1350w laser printer that worked fine on my old system. I am using the usb to connect, the konica uses the 1.0 standard and the MB is 2.0 but claims backward compatibility. The printer worked once or twice when I first hooked it up, now I am getting a printer mismatch/communication error. I have tried numerous re-installs using my software and downloaded from konica's web site. I have tried installing it as a network printer and as a local. Nothing seems to work.
Here is where the money saving part comes in. Do I need to buy another printer or is there something else I can try?
