Why is it, when you need people the most...
..they are not there?

But, when you don't really need them
they are around?

And, am I the only one who feels like this?

1. No, You Aren't
I think you are feeling pretty bad tonight

but I'm sorry you feel people you need aren't around

I think we all feel that way at times, some more than others

7. Well Just Don't Get A Ring Around Your Ass!
from sitting on a pity pot!

kidding

I think when you feel bad you get a pass from being called self pitying.

You need someone to attend to your needs

you need a bell to ring and have someone come!

8. Hmm...
.now that you mention it...

Seriously, there is a certain non-threatening aura a married person has...which, unfortunately, does attract the opposite sex. Ha! I do sound like Dr. Phil at times, don't I? Or, maybe my fever is getting the best of me?

Hang in there, HT. It will happen for you...you have to be optimistic.

18. Yup!
And yet, I was told 2 days ago that my time on DU was the "most destructive thing" to my family.

Sorry, I don't buy the guilt trip!

20. Yup!
you guessed it

blew me away

said it in the middle of our "counseling" session

I guess to score points against me?

she'd been "timing" me so she could say how much I was on

I was on a lot that week in Colorado, but the choice was, be on DU, sleep, read, watch TV

I played with my son, I talked to my Dad, I did things with my family.

When they were all doing nothing but watchiing some game show, I was on DU
when they were asleep I was on DU

Nope, no guilt being bought here!

23. No, but sometimes I've found that the times I THINK I need people the most
are often not as desperate as I thought.

The times when I really need people, they usually come through.

I guess the lesson I'm learning is that I shouldn't need people so much.
