Joplin is a univerity town and you would think that there would be more to do. Ha! This college student is here to sau that Joplin is a real downer. Have trouble sleeping? Come here!

we have a two day fair like thing in June. But thats it. some bars
2 or 3 movie places and thats it.

13. Whoosh...I am sitting here in the middle of suburbia...

1950's style. All tract housing, brick ranches, but pretty close to the lake. Only thing that happens here in the summer is the Wednesday night concerts in the park which my 4 year old adores and my 13 year old wouldn't be caught dead at. Old folks dancing and the like. Very good schools, but very lame on the entertainment factor. Even walks are dreadfully boring...same house, same house, same house with 2nd story added, same house, same house. Sometimes I think I catch my dog yawning. :-)

life and I know I should be more grateful than I am, because lots of mothers would kill for that. I just hate it when I put it off. It's just my kids are so damned adorable, I just want to spend every waking moment with them. ;-)
