Has anyone seen that BMW commercial where the 2 kids

2. Chicago area, the kids are about 6 and they are just screaming

and then they start screeching YES, YES, YES in unison when the present is opened. The screeching, the whole commercial is high-pitched screeching

That ad drives me nuts. I would cheerfully throw those kids through the nearest window. The boy in particular is on the verge of a psychotic episode. The ad is like visual birth control. One viewing, and you'd never want to have kids of your own.

Another one is that Volvo ad with the motormouth child wittering on about utter crap in the back seat, while her feckless dad drives along smugly smiling at her in the rearview mirror. Hey, fuckhead! The road's in front of you! Try looking out that window occasionally!

5. It's obnoxious on two levels

One, the screaming. Two, the segueway from a "magic" Christmas of one's youth to the crass elitism of giving a luxury car having the same "magic."

and I have never written to a firm about their ads

It really sums up the commercialism
of Christmas really well.

Christmas= getting presents, period.

I was hit by a guy driving a BMW in July so I think I have a built-in bias against those cars anyway. x(
