2. I've been carded once since I turned 18

(18 being the drinking age in Vermont long ago when I was young). I was about 36 at the time and was surprised and pleased so I thanked the guy.

But that's the law here in Georgia. Doesn't matter how old you are or look, you must show ID to buy alcohol in supermarkets or convenience stores. Except for in liquor stores because you have to be 21 to even walk in the door..
