1. It's a reference to the Hebrews taking Jericho as they entered the promised land

After they crossed the Jordan, and stepped into the promised land for the first time after the exodus from Egypt, they had to take out Jericho - and they did it by marching around the city for 7 days, and then blowing trumpets knocking the walls down.

Sadly, I don't get what it means - I'm sure its an insult somehow, but I can't figure it out.

Is he saying that the democrats think they've been on exodus, and that the white house represents the block of them fully entering the promised land?

Does he mean that the democrats only intent is to destroy the white house (that is, tear down Shrubbie McCokespoon)?

Does he mean that the only plan the democrats have is to walk around and hope that God takes cares of things for them?

Is it a Bill Clinton reference?

I have no fucking idea what it means.

You'd think that, if one is going to insult someone, one would make the insult understandable. But then, the BC guy has all the intellectual complexity and nuance of Mallard Filmore, and is just as racist, hate-based, and fake Christian, too.

Hart is an evangelical. Not all evangelicals are fundamentalists and not all fundamentalists are evangelicals. More to the point, not all evangelicals or fundamentalist are right wingers. 23. One of two opposite interpretations

Jericho was occupied by a king unfriendly to the Jews and therefore to God. The king was a brutal tyrant occupying the land promised to the Israelites. The Israelite army's conquest of Jericho was the first step in reclaiming God's chosen land from the infidels.

Either Hart is claiming the Dems will have to drive the evil king out of the White House and take back the promised land for God's Chosen,

Or he may be implying that the Dems only see Bush as an occupying king, and that they have no plan other than to make a lot of noise and hope God wins the battle for him.

Frankly, only the first interpretation makes sense, although he seems to be mocking both parties lately.
