My friend reported his wife as missing Saturday night, and they found her body Sunday.
No details, so please don't ask.

But the lesson is this: Cherish who you have, every day. Because you don't know if they'll be here tomorrow.

After losing my father the horrific way that I did, I never ever take tomorrow for granted. The last thing ThinkBlue1966 hears from me every time she leaves the house is a heartfelt (not automatic) "I love you more than anything and I'll miss you like hell every second you're gone" (or some variation thereof).

I am very sorry for your friend. Please let him know that he's in my thoughts.

10. Thanks, but it's what HE is going through that counts. He spent Sunday being grilled by the cops,
as you can imagine.

God damn, what it must be like to lose your wife, and then have the cops work you over? They have to do that, of course, but it must be excruciating.

32. Hi Redstone. I was an insurance investigator in Massachusetts, and you know
that most homicides are perpetrated by a member of the deceased person's family or friends.

I know the statistics back this up, but nevertheless, it must be terribly hard. I can't even imagine it. Is this a professional man? Did he employ a lawyer? Are there any kids involved? Anyway, just curious. You don't have to answer this if you don't want to -- or can't.

11. That is just Fuc_ing horrible!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carpe_diem
Carpe diem
Carpe diem is a phrase from a Latin poem by Horace (Odes 1.11). It is usually translated "seize the day".

One interpretation of the phrase might be as an existential cautionary term, much like "eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die" with emphasis on making the most of current opportunities because life is short and time is fleeting
I wish their family's peace .And Many  :grouphug:

He'll need a lot of support! I'll be thinking of him.

I'm always reminded at work to tell my loved ones how special they are to me. You never know what might happen tomorrow.
I saw a Christmas card today that said, "The past is history, the future a mystery, but today is a gift - that's why it's called the present."
