1. I was underwhelmed, I'm afraid....
I mean, all the hype had my anticipation built pretty high, and I wasn't really disappointed, but after I saw it I kinda shrugged. It was a good movie, but I didn't get all tingly like I expected.

3. I totally agree
My neighbor leant it to me and said it was great. I thought it was okay at best. But there were some wild scenes in it. And what the hell was the deal with the girl being in prison?

6. Definitely not as good as the book.
One thing that was kind of disappointing was the speech he broadcasts while holding up the guards at detonator point. It was a lot of "We're going to kick ass", and not as much about the principles of anarchy as in the book. Also, in the graphic novel, he pretends to be the boss of a big company and does this pretty cool allegory about the history and nature of the human race.

7. anarchy has principles?
Who'd have thought it was so regimented?

"We tried to start a little anarchist community, but people just wouldn't follow the rules."

5. I saw it in the theater, bought it immediately afterward.
IMO, it's one of those films that gets a little better each time you see it.

As a one-shot, it's rather slow and paced almost artificially to stretch to two hours. When you watch it in anticipation of some of its parts, it becomes a different animal. I'd compare the experience to watching Godfather.
