I put on any of Dada's albums, turned up to ear-splitting levels. Love the voices, the harmony, and of course the guitar. Who is your immediate-satisfaction rockity-roll preference?

8. I saw them before they were famous
I saw AC/DC before anyone had ever heard of them. They were LOUD and my ears rang for three days. I saw them play at a local amusement park. I paid a couple of bucks to see them. I drank tequila while they jammed. It was great!

13. That's a story for the grandkids.
Preferably told to them with Back In Black at ear-splitting levels playing in the next room.

3. My dear InternalDialogue!
Well, you will probably want to shoot me! But I love love love Billy Joel! His ballads are, to me at least, especially fine! *sigh* And he has some hard-rocking pieces that make me get up and dance... :yoiks: :hi:

5. No no, Peggy! I wouldn't shoot you!
Billy Joel is a perfectly satisfying musician, in my book. I have my own Billy Joel CDs for just such an occasion.

a great and underappreciated band IMHO some people mistake virtuosity for superficiality.

12. By "new," do you mean NEW or "new"?
I never got past the Toto IV phase, but what a phase it was! (Actually, I think I was sidetracked onto the Poco phase, due to a mixup in the cassette pile at my friend's house.)

Infuckingcredible. Check out title track Falling In Between; and Dying on My Feet. They do a VH tribute track too-Taint The World Whole cd is good; though. They broght the old lead singer back for a track; forgot which one it is right now.

19. Right now, it is The Black Keys
Picked them up after they showed up in the "just for you" section of iTunes. Love them now. I believe one review said that it sounds like the guitar was dipped in gravy before they started recording. Pretty accurate as best I can tell. And sometimes I do have to blast Tenacious D. After all the main thing that they is to rock my fucking socks off.
