Last night, I was a big jerk at school.

I was walking down the hall, and a girl FELL out of the bathroom. I burst out laughing, before I could restrain myself. I asked her if she was okay, and told her that it seemed like something I would do, to try to alleviate her embarrassment. She looked mortified. I felt so bad for laughing, but it looked ridiculous- she almost took out the bathroom door- and I couldn't help myself.


I need to sit in the "mean" box.

2. I have those, "excuse me I am trying not to smile" moments all the time.

But sometimes I can not help myself. I laugh out loud like the squirrel in "Over The Hedge" and then have to ask, "was that out loud?" But I find humor in the strangest places.

Laughing in those circumstances is required (I think it's in the Constitution, actually). The only way you could be a jerk in that situation is if you'd photographed her with your camera phone and circulated the picture around campus...
